Paula Saccone Spagnuolo has over 10 years of experience in domestic and international business transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and highly complex commercial contracts involving multiple jurisdictions. She advises large companies on all types of business-critical national and international commercial transactions, providing practical, risk management-based solutions to structure transactions with suppliers, customers, licensors, distributors, and other strategic partners.

Her expertise spans advising on general compliance matters, including anti-corruption measures, risk assessments, and due diligence processes.

Paula is a Senior Associate in the corporate practice at Mitrani Caballero, based in Montevideo, Uruguay. Previously, she was a legal adviser and risk assessment specialist at Tenaris Global Services S.A. (2012-2018), an associate in the Corporate Department of Posadas, Posadas & Vecino (2010-2012), and a legal trainee at Posadas, Posadas & Vecino (2008-2010).

Paula holds a Master’s in Commercial Law (2015, thesis pending), a Specialization in Commercial Law (2013), and a Law degree (2010), all from the Universidad de la República Oriental del Uruguay, Faculty of Law. She has been professionally registered in Uruguay since 2011 and is fluent in Spanish, English, and Italian.
