Leonel Palomares has extensive experience in comprehensive tax advice. He regularly advises clients on Argentine taxation at federal, provincial, and municipal levels. In addition, he participates in international transactions of non-residents’ investments in Argentina, foreign Argentine investments and cross-border transactions related to digital economy, among others. His experience in tax litigation at federal, provincial, and municipal levels include a deep understanding of the functions of the Revenue Agency of the Province of Buenos Aires (ARBA).

Prior to joining the firm, he was a Legal Advisor of the National Director of Mining Investments of the Ministry of Productive Development of Argentina (2020-2021). From 2017 to 2019, he was a Legal Advisor at the Revenue Agency of the Province of Buenos Aires (ARBA).

Formerly, he was an associate in the Tax practice at Beccar Varela, between 2014 and 2017. Leonel has a law degree from the Universidad Blas Pascal (2010), a Master of Laws in Taxation from the Universidad Torcuato Di Tella (2012) and several other post-graduate degrees (Specialization in Local Taxation, 2021, Universidad Nacional de Tres de Febrero; Tax Analytics, 2021, Universidad Torcuato Di Tella; Tax Planning for Business, 2021, Universidad de Belgrano; Crypto-Economies, 2018, Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires). He is a member of the Argentine Association of Fiscal Studies.
