Cristian Mitrani received the Lifetime Achievement Award from Latin Lawyer for his outstanding career

The international publication Latin Lawyer awarded the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award to Cristian Mitrani, one of the founding partners of our firm. This recognition honors his nearly five-decade-long career in the legal field, marked by professional excellence, visionary leadership, and a strong commitment to the community.

“I want to dedicate this award to my family, because this would not have been possible without their support,” said Cristian Mitrani upon receiving the distinction at the ceremony held in São Paulo, Brazil.

A reference in corporate law and M&A, throughout his career he has led significant cross-border transaction in Latin America, Europe, the United States, and Asia. Additionally, he is widely recognized for his work in compliance, antitrust, and data privacy.

“Cristian Mitrani is the best lawyer I have ever known,” said Jaime Fernández Madero, who worked alongside our partner at the beginning of his career and was in charge of the award presentation speech. “He always demonstrated his generosity and set aside his ego, something uncommon among leaders in this industry. By doing so, he allowed his firm to grow. In that sense, he is a model for everyone,” he added.
