Mitrani Caballero advised Monte Verde S.A. (Adium Pharma) on a US$22,000,000 financing

Mitrani Caballero advised Monte Verde S.A., the Argentine subsidiary of Adium Pharma, on obtaining a US$22,000,000 loan extended by Citibank through its international banking branch. This was a complex cross-border transaction involving multiple jurisdictions.

Adium Pharma is a leading pharmaceutical company in Latin America with more than 40 years of experience. It operates in 18 countries across the region and maintains one of its manufacturing plants in Argentina. The proceeds of the loan will support the company’s local expansion, funding the development and operation of a facility in the Province of San Juan, Argentina.

The loan was guaranteed by Adium Ltd (British Virgin Islands) and three Panamanian subsidiaries of the company. As a result, the transaction required coordination among these jurisdictions, Argentina, and New York.
