Mitrani Caballero advised on the largest global transaction in the history of the Bosch Group

The Bosch Group acquired the residential and commercial HVAC business of Johnson Controls, as well as its stake in the Johnson Controls-Hitachi joint venture, for a total value of USD 8 billion. Mitrani Caballero provided legal advice on the Argentine component of this historic global transaction.

Our work enabled the company to acquire 100% of the shares of Johnson Controls BE Argentina S.R.L. This Johnson Controls Group company, incorporated in Argentina, owns office spaces, a distribution plant, and a training center for its sales force in Latin America. The transaction was led by our partner Cristian Krüger, together with senior associate Agustina De Nicola.

In this way, our firm was part of the largest acquisition in the more than 100-year history of the Bosch Group. Globally, the transaction will allow the company to significantly expand its presence in the HVAC market, with a focus on the United States, Asia, and Latin America. The new business unit will become part of its Home Comfort division.

Participating in a project of this magnitude not only reflects the trust that leading companies place in our expertise but also reaffirms our position as a benchmark in advising on large-scale transactions.
