Mitrani Caballero at the IBA and ABA Annual Tax Conference
Mitrani Caballero took part in the 18th Annual U.S. and Latin America Tax Practice Trends Conference, a leading event for tax law practice in the region. Our partners Corina Laudato and Gloria Gurbista participated as speakers on key panels, where they shared their insights on highly relevant topics for the field.
Organized by the International Bar Association (IBA) and the American Bar Association (ABA), the conference brings together prominent experts from the United States and Latin America each year. This edition was held in São Paulo and focused on the latest tax developments affecting multinational companies.
Corina Laudato, a specialist in tax planning and comprehensive tax advisory, spoke on the panel “Cross-Border Succession and Estate Planning: Practical Tax Challenges Across the Americas”, alongside representatives from firms in Colombia, the United States, Brazil, and Uruguay.
Gloria Gurbista, a specialist in tax and customs law, contributed her perspective on the panel “Tax Controversies: Litigation, Arbitration, Settlements and Alternative Solutions.” The session fostered a valuable exchange by combining viewpoints from both the public sector and private practice.
We thank the organizers for the invitation. Events like this provide an opportunity to strengthen dialogue among professionals, share experiences, and deepen the analysis of the issues shaping the future of the practice.
