We Appoint New Partners in Labor and Corporate Law

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Andrea Schiavone as Partner in our Labor and Social Security practice, and Carolina Villar Freuler as Partner in our Corporate and Mergers & Acquisitions practice. Both bring outstanding professional and academic track records.

Andrea Schiavone has advised Human Resources and Labor Relations departments at national and multinational companies for more than 15 years, in Argentina and across Latin America. She specializes in the mining, oil and gas sectors and has represented clients before industry chambers and associations.

She earned her law degree from Universidad Católica Argentina, where she also completed further studies, including a specialization in Labor and Social Security Law, a postgraduate program in Human Resources Management, and a Master’s Degree Update Program in Labor Law.

Carolina Villar Freuler focuses on corporate and finance matters and has advised clients across multiple industries and jurisdictions. She served as an international associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP in New York and as Commercial Senior Legal Counsel and Head of Legal LATAM at SWVL (Viapool), where she coordinated legal support for Brazil, Mexico, Chile and Argentina.

She obtained her law degree from Universidad Austral and holds an LL.M. from the University of Chicago, where she was a Fulbright scholar and received the Ann Watson Barber Outstanding Service Award.

Together, our new partners co-lead Women at Mitrani Caballero, our program designed to promote women’s leadership in the legal profession. Carolina Villar Freuler also serves on the Technology and Innovation Committee, which drives the evaluation, testing and responsible adoption of new technological tools.
