Women at Mitrani Caballero: supporting the careers of our women lawyers
As part of the ongoing series we created to strengthen female leadership in the legal field, we hosted a new career development workshop featuring Lorena Blanco, Head of People Capability and Development at HSBC.
The session encouraged participants to reflect on their professional potential and define concrete steps to support their growth. Women lawyers at various stages of their careers attended the event, creating a horizontal and enriching exchange from which everyone walked away with ideas to implement.
“Lorena generously and warmly shared her experiences, providing us with key tools to enhance our visibility and positioning in the workplace. She encouraged us to take ownership of our development, build support networks, and view each professional experience as a learning opportunity,” said Andrea Schiavone, who leads Women at Mitrani Caballero alongside Carolina Villar.
Gender equality has been a core pillar of our organizational culture since the beginning. As part of that commitment, we developed this series to foster a space where our women professionals can share work-related challenges, discuss strategies to overcome them, and gain tools that support their continued growth. The initiative aligns with our endorsement of the United Nations Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs).
We thank all the participants—and especially Lorena Blanco—for generously joining this initiative and sharing her valuable insights.
