Jorge García Rapp spoke on Social Security at key forums in Argentina and Paraguay

Our social security counsel, Jorge García Rapp, was invited by the Argentine Chamber of Deputies and the Government of Paraguay to speak at two important events focused on the analysis and discussion of his area of expertise.

National Deputy for the province of Córdoba, Gabriela Brouwer de Koning, invited García Rapp to the plenary meeting of the Social Security and Budget and Finance Committees. During his intervention, the member of Mitrani Caballero shared his technical analysis and his position regarding the end of the pension moratorium.

Additionally, the Government of Paraguay invited him to be a speaker at the seminar “Regulatory Changes in Social Security: Rights, Expectations, and Legal Implications” held in the city of Asunción. The event was organized by the Ministry of Labor, Employment, and Social Security of that country and was supported by the International Labor Organization (ILO). The event proposed an interdisciplinary approach to the current regulatory framework in pension matters. Alongside García Rapp, representatives of the Paraguayan Judiciary, specialists in the field, technical experts, and social and academic actors participated.

We appreciate both invitations, which constitute a valuable recognition of our specialist’s career in social security matters.
