We advised Molinos Río de la Plata on its acquisition of NotCo’s business in Argentina and Uruguay

Mitrani Caballero advised Molinos Río de la Plata S.A., one of Argentina’s leading consumer goods companies, on the acquisition of 100% of the share capital of The Not Company S.A.S. from Chilean foodtech company The Not Company SpA. Closing of the transaction, which encompasses NotCo’s operations in Argentina and Uruguay, is subject to obtaining the relevant regulatory approvals.

NotCo is one of the most innovative companies in the food segment at the regional level, recognized for developing plant-based products under brands such as NotMayo, NotMilk, and NotBurger. With this acquisition, Molinos will be able to expand its presence in categories linked to new consumer trends.
