We advised Estancias de Patagonia on the acquisition of Fuhrmann

Mitrani Caballero advised Estancias de Patagonia S.A. on the successful acquisition of 100% of the shares of Fuhrmann S.A.U. This was a strategic transaction of significant relevance for the sheep and wool industry.

Estancias de Patagonia is a Río Gallegos–based company that produces and exports sheep meat. The transaction will strengthen its position in the local wool market through the integration of one of the sector’s most established and influential companies in commercialization and industrialization.

The deal team was led by Corporate Law partner Carlos Trogolo, together with Tax Law partner Juan Manuel Iglesias Mamone. Associates Constanza Domini and Carla Victoria Duarte were also part of the team.

Although the transaction was carried out entirely in Argentina, “it required coordinating a cross-border process with an Italian seller under a demanding timetable,” explained Carlos Trogolo. It also required “implementing post-closing protection mechanisms and operational commitments to safeguard continuity and value,” as well as “structuring a robust set of obligations to ensure an orderly transition.”
