Women at Mitrani Caballero: our actions to promote women’s leadership

In 2025, the program we designed to foster women’s leadership in the legal field marked its second anniversary. The initiatives we carried out were key to consolidating a support network among professionals from all practice areas, at different stages of their careers.

“All the women lawyers at the firm grew in confidence and in their sense of belonging. What began with us actively seeking proposals has now become a space where ideas flow naturally, because everyone feels it as their own,” reflected Carolina Villar Freuler, who coordinates Women at Mitrani Caballero together with Andrea Schiavone.

One of the most enriching activities was the women’s roundtables. Conceived as spaces for listening to each team member’s concerns, they allowed us to reflect on the challenges faced by the sector and to design concrete actions to address them. Our partners played a key role by sharing their experience and personal journeys.

Throughout the year, we also welcomed outstanding professionals such as Catalina Hornos, founder of Haciendo Camino; Lorena Blanco, Head of People Capability and Development at HSBC; and Carla Martín Bonito, the first female president of COPAL. In their talks, they shared their career paths and professional perspectives, providing participants with valuable tools to further develop their own careers.

“Women at Mitrani Caballero is a natural expression of our firm’s DNA: a space that, from the outset, understood that excellence is only achieved by integrating diverse perspectives and moving forward with a shared purpose,” said Andrea Schiavone.

We have worked consistently to create a more inclusive work environment, with equal opportunities for everyone on the team. This program reinforces that commitment, in line with our adherence to the UN Women’s Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs).

We thank all the professionals who supported this initiative and took part in the meetings held throughout the year.
